I decided to give dislyte another chance
after seeing an advertisement on YouTube. I remembered playing this game a year ago and enjoying its community system and cyber city art style. I was curious to see how the game had changed and improved since then, so I re-downloaded dislyte and launched it. I was pleasantly surprised by the new features and updates that the developers had added. The game was more immersive, engaging and fun than before. I found myself hooked on the missions, challenges and interactions with other players. I realized that dislyte was not just a game, but a virtual world where I could explore, create and connect with others.
A new beginning.
The game begins with a dramatic scene: I am Brynn, a young woman with black hair and blue eyes who loves music. I am attending a concert with my friends when suddenly a loud explosion shakes the stadium. I see a huge monster with tentacles and fangs crashing through the stage, roaring and destroying everything in its path. I feel a surge of fear and panic as I try to run away, but the crowd is too dense and chaotic.
Then, something miraculous happens. A bright beam of light shines down from the sky and hits me in the chest. I feel a warm sensation spreading through my body, and then I gasp as I see two white wings sprouting from my back. I also notice that my hands are glowing with a blue light, and I instinctively know that I can control ice magic. I don't understand what is happening to me, but I feel a new sense of courage and power.
I decided to use my abilities to fight the monster and protect the people. I fly towards the beast and shoot ice shards at its eyes, hoping to blind it. The monster roars in pain and swings its tentacles at me, but I dodge them with ease. I see two other people joining me in the battle: a wolf-man with sharp claws and teeth, and a red-haired man with a sniper rifle. They seem to be experienced fighters, and they tell me to follow their lead.
Save the concert-goers.
Together, we manage to defeat the monster and save the concert-goers. The wolf-man and the red-haired man introduce themselves as Remy and Kai, members of the Superhero Union. They explain that they are here to recruit me, because I have been chosen by the Marical, a mysterious force that grants superpowers to some people. They say that there are many other heroes like us, and also many villains who use their powers for evil. They invite me to join them at their headquarters, where they will teach me how to use my powers and fight for justice.
Join the team.
I agree to go with them, curious and excited about this new world that has opened up for me. I wonder what other adventures await me as a superhero. The game then transitions to a tutorial mode, where Disboom, a girl with blue hair and glasses, guides me through the basic controls and mechanics of the game.
The game play.
Dislyte is a game that features a turn-based card combat system. In this game, you can control different characters called echoes, each with their own skills and elements. The game starts with a tutorial battle where you can learn the basics of the combat system. You have three skills for your main character, and you can use one of them by pressing the corresponding button. The skill you use is effective against the opponent's element, and you can defeat them in one hit. After the battle, you get a new echo called Drew, who is a guy wearing a dog costume. He has fire element skills and can deal damage to multiple enemies.
The game then introduces you to the concept of elemental weaknesses. Each enemy has an icon on top of them that shows their element. You can use skills that match their weakness to deal extra damage and gain an advantage in battle. The game also has a speed up button that lets you speed up the combat animations and make the battles faster.
Gacha summon.
The game also has a gacha system where you can summon new echoes using crystals. You can get crystals by completing quests, achievements, or buying them with real money. The game gives you a free gacha pull after the tutorial, and you get a new echo named Mona. Mona is a green-haired girl who wears a thick hat and uses a bow as her weapon. She has water element skills and can attack single or multiple targets. She is also a 4-star echo, which means she is more rare and powerful than the main characters who are 3-star echoes.
